"Jardim Botânico" Show by Beatriz Milhazes at PAMM

Latitude Project recorded the highest number of associated galleries in Miami this December 2014. Twenty-four Latitude galleries were featured in four different fairs, being 6 of them for the first time in the Miami art week.

At Art Basel in Miami Beach, there were 15 exhibiting galleries: A Gentil Carioca, Anita Schwartz Galeria de Arte, Casa Triângulo, Central Galeria de Arte, Galeria Fortes Vilaça, Galeria Leme, Luciana Brito Galeria, Galeria Luisa Strina, Mendes Wood DM, Galeria Millan, Galeria Marilia Razuk, Galeria Nara Roesler, Galeria Raquel Arnaud, Silvia Cintra + Box4 and Vermelho.

Galeria Pilar and Athena Contemporânea made their second participations at Art Untitled and Context, respectively. Blau Projects, Logo, Luciana Caravello Arte Contemporânea, Mercedes Viegas Arte Contemporânea, Portas Vilaseca Galeria, Sergio Gonçalves Galeria and Zipper Galeria were present at the first edition of Pinta Miami.

Brazilian artistic production was highlighted in important institutions. The solo show “Jardim Botânico” by Beatriz Milhazes represented by Galeria Fortes Vilaça was on view at Perez Art Museum Miami were the artist also launched a book. The works of several Brazilian artists were also featured at "Impulse, Reason, Sense, Conflict", part of the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation including works by artists of different generations such as Sergio Camargo, Carla Chaim, Lygia Clark, Iran do Espírito Santo, Fernanda Gomes, Jac Leirner, Renata Lucas, Anna Maria Maiolino, Hélio Oiticica and Mira Schendel.
