At the beginning of December, the most important Latin American fair and its satellite fairs took to the cities of Miami Beach and Miami 21 galleries of the Latitude project.

Art Basel Miami Beach brought together, from its 269 participating galleries, 14 galleries participating in the Project. In the main sector - Galleries - the galleries A Gentil Carioca (with participation in the section Kabinett), Casa Triângulo, Dan Galeria, Fortes D'Aloia & Gabriel, Luciana Brito Galeria, Galeria Luisa Strina, Mendes Wood DM, Galeria Millan, Galeria Nara Roesler and Vermelho. In the New sector, for the exhibition of recent works of up to three artists per stand, the Brazilian galleries Anita Schwartz Galeria de Arte, Silvia Cintra + Box4 and Galeria Leme participated. In the Positions section, where the selection of galleries and works is curated, Galeria Marilia Razuk presented individual shows by the artist Ana Luiza Dias Batista.

Galeria Marilia Razuk was also in the Film sector, with the exhibition of the video Itamambuca Dub (2014), by Hair; And in the Public sector with work by Wagner Malta Tavares in Collins Park.

Project galleries also participated in two other fairs held in Miami Beach. Untitled had the participation of galleries Baró Galeria, Central Galeria, Luciana Caravello Arte Contemporânea and Mercedes Viegas Arte Contemporânea. Sergio Gonçalves Galeria participated for the second consecutive time in the Scope Art Show.

In the city of Miami, three Brazilian galleries were at the Pinta Miami fair: Galeria Berenice Arvani, Baró Galeria and Mul.ti.plo. Espaço Arte.

In addition to the large presence of Brazilian galleries in the fairs, artists represented by the galleries had intense institutional participation. The group show "All perception is an interpretation: YOU ARE PART OF IT" took place at CIFO Art Space, with works of the collection Ella Fontanals-Cisneros. The exhibition featured works by Leon Ferrari, Marcius Galan, Antonio Manuel, Anna Maria Maiolino, Cildo Meireles (Galeria Luisa Strina); Antonio Dias, Hélio Oiticica, Paulo Bruscky (Galeria Nara Roesler) and Liliana Porter (Luciana Brito Galeria).

The space of the Rubell Family Collection presented the exhibition "New Shamans: Brazilian Artists", with the participation of Daniel Steegmann Managuané, Lucas Arruda, Paulo Nazareth, Paulo Nimer Pjota, Solange Pessoa, Sonia Gomes, Thiago Martins de Melo (Mendes Wood DM) And André Komatsu (Vermelho). At the same location, the artist Solange Pessoa also participated in the "High Anxiety" group show and Rubell Family Collection, in partnership with the Pacific Standard Time: LA / LA project, presented a preview of the exhibition Video Art in Latin America featuring works by eight Brazilian video artists.

Argentine artist Julio Le Parc, represented by the Galeria Nara Roesler, won his first major American retrospective at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Miguel Rio Branco (Galeria Millan) participated in an exhibition at the Climate Gallery. Knopp Ferro (Dan Galeria) exhibited at Espacio Expression and, at the end of December, the artist Maritza Caneca (Anita Schwartz Galeria de Arte) opened the solo exhibition Pools Series at the Bossa Gallery.
